Drinking from the Fountain Ministries exists to help people grow into Christ-likeness by turning them from the emptiness of idolatry to the all-satisfying God of the Bible, through the gospel, for His eternal glory.
DFF derives its name and vision from Jeremiah 2:12-13.
‘Be appalled, O heavens, at this;
be shocked, be utterly desolate,
declares the LORD,
for my people have committed two evils:
they have forsaken me,
the fountain of living waters,
and hewed out cisterns for themselves,
broken cisterns that can hold no water.’
We believe this passage highlights the fundamental problem in our struggle with sin and gives us the ultimate solution. All sin is rooted in idolatry, whereas, the fruit of the Spirit grows out of hearts that are drinking from the all-satisfying, living God.
